It is often said that the love between a mother and a child is the most unconditional, most pure form of love itself. Come what may, the hardships and tribulations of motherhood is but a drop in the ocean of love that encompasses a mother and child, from the moment of union and until the end of time.
It goes without saying that a mother’s love is incomparable to any other relationship. Yet becoming a mother myself was one of the most mysteriously glorious gifts in life that gives love an entirely new meaning.
From the moment I knew I was going to be a mother, the journey took me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions and fears that will always stay with me. However Motherhood comes with an amazing newfound sense of power, the motivation to grow, and the drive to give more and do more. Motherhood gives me the drive to persevere to achieve the goals that I had set out for myself, to embrace the ups and the downs, and keep going.
Today we would like to celebrate this unconditional and unwavering love of all mothers across the globe, everywhere. To the mothers who work, mothers who inspire, mothers who are struggling, mothers who are making ends meet, mothers who strive for nothing but excellence, mothers who play, mothers who teach, and mothers who don’t give up.
